Growing up in 90s middle class New Delhi, studying fashion and image making in London and living in Zürich for over 6 years now – my gaze has traveled across many lives and worlds, shaped by the everyday and epic in each of them – remaining curious, compassionate and full of wonder through the journey.

I’m drawn to the fantasy of fashion and the humanity of people. Working with brands to craft fantastical campaigns that are human and photographing people with the intrigue that comes with fashion is my joy and raison d’etre.

My love for music and the longing to bring rhythm into my imagery compelled me to make films that I shoot and edit in order to tell stories sometimes beyond the scope of fashion. Recent experiments with Super 8 are allowing me to bring nostalgia – a driving emotion behind my work- to these stories.

Over a career spanning more than 10 years, I’ve worked with names such as Elle India, Cosmopolitan India, Grazia, Verve, Claudia Güdel, Baiushki, Junglefolk, Otràvie, Nicobar, Payal Jain, Kanakavalli, Arvind labels, Eka Co., McCann and many others.

Outside of my work I continue to be an artist – writing, drawing and singing alongside cooking, doing laundry and clearing my cat’s litter box – trying to bring the same dogged mindfulness to every part of the human experience, protecting my attention from the non-human and the digital.
